At restaurants I'm sometimes pretty quiet, which can be awkward if the idea is to have a good conversation. But sometimes there's a lot to think about. Lost in inner space.

Watched "Pursuit of Happyness" with my son last night. We talked about how many people are stuck in difficult situations. And then fell asleep.

Today - my brother's birthday (Hi, I.! I'll send something shortly), a picnic with friends, and the group plays at a coffeehouse later...looks beautiful out, will likely do some pulling of weeds, cutting of branches, and maybe even scraping of paint.

Grape vines growing over the fence. Nice view out the window.

I never saw you as being someone who would be lost for words.

Sound like you will be busy again soon.

I had a busy week this week at work, hard, heavy work as soon as I got home I went to bed.

We too have grape vines in our garden, they are looking good this year hopefully if we have warm weather up to fall we may get some sweet grapes.

Best wishes to you and yours,

Annie

Hello Annie - it depends how much rest I'm getting.

Sounds like your work can be very tiring, hope it's not always like that.

Sometimes around fall we have a raccoon show up to help with the grapes.

Nice photos your are posting - I found this one where the spider (?) doesn't look quite as happy.

Thanks again for your notes.

Thank you for showing me the picture. It did make me laugh...

There not much of my main job around at the moment. I had to help out in a different unit and do hard work instead. I'm back doing my own work this week which is great as I have more time to think about my writing.

Best wishes, Steve

I've had some great news this week, Steve.
My much beloved even drove to my place of work to bring the letter to me, in my lunch break for me to see. (he does shift work)

A magazine we have in England has ask me to rewrite a story I sent to them. They said there was a strong emotional drive to it and looked forward to receiving more stories from me.

So I think I'm on the right track with my writing at last.

Hope you are having a good week too.

My best wishes to you and your family.

Annie

Hi Annie -

Yippee! That is very nice news indeed. And nice that it was brought to you that way, on your break.

I've been taking some time off work, making use of the good weather to do a little work around the house but also relaxing with my son, we've had some time on our own while the others were away.

Yes, great news, Annie - you do put a lot into your writing.

Steve
