20070530

Minor power outage caused anguish in the back room when the computer restarted mid-assignment. Storms will do that, and one blew through this evening. Busy place, here in the back room where homework gets processed.

Full, full day at work. How many bits can you process. Memory froze up at the end of one meeting as another meeting was starting. Pace matters.

Off for some of that comforting rest. A demain.

Hi Steve,
I'm on holiday now of a few days... It's my birthday on the 6th June, so I've given myself a few days of to write.
Busy working on my book.

Hope you and your family have a great weekend

best wishes
Annie

Hello Annie,

I hope your birthday went well. Wonderful that you could take some time to work on your book. I like the recent pieces about spiders on your writing blog.

Hi Steve,
Are you still very busy at work?
I still don't have enough hours in the day even with my days off work.
Now I have to wait until Christmas for my next long break from work to be able to write. The weekends just fly by.

My very best wishes to you and your family.

Annie

Hello Annie,

Thanks for the note - work is absorbing a good percentage of waking hours. Funny how that happens, but I really need it to work out, and so it takes time.

Today was filled with graduation parties - they are quite expected here, but it's nice to get together with family, friends...this afternoon a small group of us sat off to the side playing Bob Dylan songs or whatever else we could think of. My 10 year old son got to eat as much popcorn and freezy drinks as he wanted, and I think was feeling slightly ill on the way home, but now he's back outside shooting little pellets with his friends (and hopefully not shooting his friends with little pellets!)
