The rollercoaster ride continues with uncertainty of my dad's health. Not so great yesterday, but some hopeful signs today. It's like that for now.

Got out and put on the storm windows today. Read a bit about the world's water situation, we seem to be going through a lot of it, especially considering how it gets used in providing the many other things that we consume. Could get fairly dry in places.

Add my hope to yours for your Dad.

My mum isn't happy about being in her new place and it makes my sister and I unhappy about the fact we have had to move her. But at the end of the day we know she is safe. We have now got to clear her flat.

It seem strange to think we come from a small place when we are born and all of our lives we built up a large space to live in. In the end, we come full circle back to a small place. See my mother take such small careful steps is not much different from watching my son when he was first learning to walk.

Life has a habit of making you sit up and take notes.

Best wishes to you and yours,

Annie

Hello Annie,

Thanks, my dad is hanging in there but it's rough going, especially as he gets more awareness. Fortunately one of my brothers is here to visit and help out.

Hope things are working out for your mum and the work involved in making the transition.

And, yes, it certainly makes one take notice and realize some of the challenges that others know.

Thanks again for the note, and regards to you and yours.

Steve

I didn't know about your father. I'm thinking of you during this time. My own father died the day after Christmas in 1986 and I still think of him over the holidays...missing, yes, but thinking of the good memories. Life is so short.

Hope your Christmas is as well as can be. I see from your top post that you and I both have a cold for the holidays.
