Back on line with this one.
Went to buy guitar strings today and found a small amp that I think may work well for playing electric violin on stage - it as an 'acoustic' amp which has a tweeter speaker and gives better sound quality than amps lacking that feature. I guess. But it does sound pretty good and has effects built right in that will make set-up easier in clubs where space and time are sometimes at a premium.
Job situation - still looking, mainly intracompany but need to start more effort towards other options. Would prefer to not move but if it means having only mediocre income here, I may need to strongly consider the move option. We keep watching the news for any announcements re buyer, that could be at any time really.
Sure do appreciate everyone out there, and will likely be posting more on this blog to keep up on the news of potential interest.
CA doing a fine job of driving. Tonight whe thought there might have been a problem with the brakes on the van but it was just a learning experience in the state of having the engine running or not. It helps a lot that she can drive herself places now.
N getting some good summertime fun in with friends before everyone heads back to college.
R & CA working on guitar, both have kind of sore fingers but will get through that part soon the way they are going at it.
P seems to have a bee allergy and so we keep epi on hand just in case.
CL doing great with yoga and learning how to hold poses longer, also gaining flexibility and strength - nice for her to have this.
